We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee the operational performance of our regional tanker fleet in the northern region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a results-driven individual to drive business growth, innovation, and excellence in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide effective leadership and monitor the performance of 3 Tanker depots to ensure high operational standards.
  • Review, initiate, and implement continuous improvement strategies to optimize business processes.
  • Oversee the operational performance of the Tanker fleet and support organic expansion through strategic planning and execution.
  • Manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) of 3 depots, ensuring financial sustainability and growth.
  • Mentor and support a team of professionals, championing a customer-centric mindset and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Maintain a steadfast focus on Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and ensure strict adherence to all company policies and standards.
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of managing P&L and driving business growth.
  • National and International CPC qualification, with expertise in tenders, costings, and project management.
  • Proficiency with route planning software and familiarity with tanker operations and chemical compatibility.
  • Understanding of transport and Dangerous Goods Safety Advisory Group (DGSA) legislation, with NEBOSH or IOSH qualification preferred.
  • Experience in the waste industry is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will have an unrestricted right to work in the UK, as our client will not support visa sponsorship for this role.

Estimated Salary: £70,000 + car + bonus. Location: Flexible Depots in Lancashire/Yorkshire/West Midlands.
