About This Role

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic professional to join our Tissue Viability team at Central London Community Health Trust. As a Tissue Viability Specialist, you will work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Tissue Viability nurse to provide tissue viability care, advice, support, education, and training to patients and carers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Work under the direction and supervision of a Registered Tissue Viability nurse to provide tissue viability care, advice, support, education, and training to patients and carers.
  • Rotate across a number of clinic services, including wound clinic and leg ulcer clinic, while also supporting with home visits.
  • Support the Registered Tissue Viability nurse in the delivery of tissue viability care and services.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Higher Professional Diploma in Health and Wellbeing (NVQ/QCF - Level 3) or a recognised equivalent course.
  • Willingness to undertake further training as appropriate.

Desirable

  • GCSE grade A-C or equivalent in English and Maths.
  • ECDL certificate.
  • Registration with the national regulatory body (when it becomes available).
