Clinical Nurse Specialist Paediatric Tissue Viability

CV-Library presents an exciting part-time opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join their team at a prestigious hospital for women and children. This position involves delivering expert care and guidance to young patients dealing with skin conditions and birthmarks.

This role offers 22 hours per week, providing a supportive environment, opportunities for career growth, and a flexible range of perks to suit your needs. As a Clinical Nurse Specialist for Paediatric Tissue Viability, you will:

  • Provide expert guidance and support to nursing teams caring for children with skin conditions and tissue viability needs.
  • Lead and coordinate patient care, ensuring the best interests of the child and family.
  • Advocate for children and young people undergoing dermatology treatments.
  • Collaborate with dermatology consultants to set care standards for patients.
  • Train and develop the nursing team in dermatology and tissue viability care.
  • Ensure hospital policies for dermatology and tissue viability services are up to date.

The ideal candidate for this Clinical Nurse Specialist role will have:

  • A Children's Nursing Qualification – RN Child or RSCN with valid NMC registration.
  • Substantial post-registration experience in children's nursing.
  • Basic/Intermediate Paediatric Life Support certification.
  • Level 3 Safeguarding qualification.

The salary for this position is £28-£32 per hour, based on the company's standard hourly rate.
