About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at a reputable school in Woking, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching outside of a mainstream environment and a commitment to delivering inclusive, fun, and inspiring lessons.
About the School:
The school caters for boys with special, emotional, and mental health difficulties (SEMH) and provides a supportive environment with small class sizes and experienced staff. The pupils are encouraged to participate in a range of academic, practical, and vocational activities, aiming to equip them with the skills and practical experience needed for life beyond school.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver inclusive and engaging lessons to SEMH pupils
- Support pupils with SEMH, ASD, and ADHD
- Work collaboratively with experienced staff to provide a supportive environment
- Participate in activities such as sports, gardening, and master chef
