Head of Business Development

Cognia Law is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our business development efforts. As Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding existing relationships with financial services providers, corporations, and law firms.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing go-to-market strategies for key service areas, including sales enablement tools and collateral.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including General Counsel and Heads of Legal Operations.
- Collaborating with marketing, business advisory, and service delivery teams to drive sales growth and revenue expansion.
- Leading and managing a team of sales professionals to achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
Requirements:
- Proven track record in consulting-led sales, with experience selling to senior stakeholders in the legal and professional services sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with GCs, Heads of Legal Operations, and other senior stakeholders.
- Ability to consistently exceed established revenue and activity goals, with a proven ability to scale a client base and manage sales cycles to close.
