Job Title: Head of Business

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned sales leader to join our team as Head of Business. This is a hybrid role with an expectation of 2-3 days in our London office per week.

About the Role:

The Head of Business will oversee a team of 17 sales members, responsible for EMEA as their sales region. They will manage teams across different locations/countries, creating strategic sales plans to drive excellent customer acquisition, average order value, and market share.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of new business sellers responsible for monthly value deals.
  • Identify business opportunities, build key prospect relationships, negotiate, and close business deals while maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
  • Develop sales strategies, evaluate performance, forecast, and provide support and corrective measures when necessary.
  • Manage the sales process through to its close, including qualifying viability, delivering winning presentations, contract negotiations, legal and procurement discussions.
  • Provide weekly forecasts of sales opportunities closing and an accurate overview of the new business pipeline as it relates to monthly quota.
  • Analyze performance patterns behind the numbers and build strategies to consistently achieve better results.
  • Create incentive plans and commission schemes for approval to drive the team and business faster.
  • Utilize strong business networks and experience working with consumer insight, design industries, and consumer-driven companies.
  • Manage a multi-region territory in a direct business-to-business sales function, with experience in subscription-based services, information industry, and software sales a plus.
  • Develop strong oral presentation skills for virtual and in-person meetings and trainings.
  • Experience working with CRM (Salesforce, Salesloft a plus) and overseeing Salesforce database, opportunity pipeline, and lead cultivation.
