Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Bucks and Berks Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clients and candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utility Administration: Manage utility invoices, meter readings, and utility contracts.
  • Accounts Administration: Assist with accounts administration, purchase ledger, and billing support.
  • Communication: Liaise with utility suppliers, manage supplier statements, and apply for credits/refunds.
  • Organizational Skills: Maintain utility spreadsheets, manage tenant utilities recharges, and ensure timely and accurate payment of business rates and council tax instalments.
  • Financial Analysis: Investigate high usage properties to reduce energy consumption and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Administrative Support: Register and reconcile utilities, rates, and council tax direct debits, and provide billing and receipting support.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is ideal, but not essential.
  • Skills: Excellent numeracy and accuracy, IT literate with strong Excel skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Adaptable working style, team player, ability to work autonomously, organized, and self-motivated.
