Zachary Daniels Recruitment is exclusively partnered with a leading multi-channel fashion retailer to appoint an E-commerce Director, based in London. This is a pivotal role with huge scope to optimise and grow the e-commerce channels through leading on the digital commerce strategy.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Lead the e-commerce team in optimising online sales performance, user experience, and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platforms, ensuring seamless integration with physical stores.
- Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, IT, and customer service, to drive cohesive and effective e-commerce initiatives.
- Manage budgets, set performance targets, and report on key e-commerce metrics and KPIs.
- Ensure the e-commerce platform is fully optimised for mobile, SEO, and conversion rate improvements.
- Lead the development and implementation of new digital tools and technologies to enhance the customer journey.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and excellence within the e-commerce team.
- Minimum of 10 years in e-commerce management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the fashion retail industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing e-commerce strategies that drive significant revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and online merchandising.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and related technologies.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
