About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our dynamic team at Refresco Milton Keynes. As a key member of our site leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the site is maintained in a safe and compliant manner, while promoting a strong health and safety culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective HSE strategies and policies to ensure compliance with UK legislation and group standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to site area managers and personnel on HSE-related matters.
  • Collaborate with the site PLT and UK Head of Health, Safety and Environment to ensure group consistency in the delivery of the HSE improvement agenda.
  • Liaise with plant HR Business Partner on Occupational Health matters.
  • Develop and maintain HSE audit and inspection programs, risk assessment programs, and standard operating procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and provide training to staff on incident investigation and reporting.
  • Manage HSE non-conformances and close out, as well as PPE requirements and benchmark system management and statistics.
  • Engage with site personnel and report on HSE KPIs, including accident statistics, environmental permit annual returns, and environmental KPIs.
About You

We are looking for a passionate and experienced HSE professional with a strong background in health and safety management. You will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a busy manufacturing and engineering environment, with a NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety as a minimum. You will also have up-to-date knowledge of UK HSE legislation and its practical application, as well as good Microsoft packages experience.
