Health, Safety and Environmental Manager (HSE) - Milton Keynes

Refresco is seeking a driven HSE Manager to join our dynamic team in Milton Keynes. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our site is maintained fully compliant and a safe place to work. You will influence our people to continue a strong health and safety culture, promoting a high-performance safety culture and delivering risk reduction across our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with site PLT and UK Head of Health, Safety and Environment to ensure group consistency in the delivery of the HSE improvement agenda.
  • Provide technical support, advice and guidance to Site Area managers and other personnel on any HSE related matters.
  • Promote RADAR scheme and other proactive HSE activities.
  • Liaise with plant HR Business Partner on Occupational Health matters.
  • Conduct risk assessment programmes, HSE audits and inspections, and incident investigations.
  • Develop and implement HSE objectives, audit schedules, and non-conformances.
  • Engage with site and report on HSE KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a busy manufacturing and engineering environment with 2+ years as a HSE Manager.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UK HSE legislation and its practical application.
  • NEBOSH Certificate in Health and Safety as a minimum.
  • Good Microsoft packages experience.
