Job Description
We are seeking a Head of Purchasing Operations to lead our procurement function and implement purchasing plans within the framework of the BLI development project.
This is a senior role that requires a high level of expertise in procurement and leadership skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing purchasing strategies and plans
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Leading a team of procurement professionals to achieve business objectives
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Master's degree in Business Administration or General Engineering with specialization in purchasing
- Strong experience in purchases of industrial equipment, engineering contracts, work contracts, indirect services
- Experience in procurement and interfaces between procurement and purchasing
- Experience in contract negotiation (equipment, engineering services)
Salary
The estimated salary for this role is £80,000-£100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
