Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fire and Security Systems Project Manager to lead the effective management of fire and security system projects in the region, ensuring alignment with company quality standards and customer service excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Coordinate and schedule works engineers efficiently to ensure timely completion of contracts and invoicing within deadlines.
    • Conduct site and client meetings to ensure project progress and achieve a personal turnover target of £100,000 - £120,000 per month.
    • Manage project forecasts and profit/loss statements to drive operational excellence and contribute to the company's growth in the fire and security systems sector.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Fire Systems, HSSDs, Disabled Refuge, and PAVA to compile and deliver comprehensive O&M manuals for completed projects.
    • Maintain excellent understanding of CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Systems to ensure seamless integration and operation.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Develop and implement best practices and procedures to enhance internal systems and improve work practices and procedures.
    • Ensure works engineers have necessary access, equipment, and resources on site to meet deadlines consistently and efficiently.
  • Collaboration and Leadership
    • Foster strong working relationships with Works Managers, Supports, Engineers, and Head of Works to drive collaboration and teamwork.
    • Participate in establishing and improving work practices and procedures to ensure operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Proven experience in project management within the fire and security systems industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of fire detection, security, and communication systems.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant project management and financial software.
