Person Specification

Qualifications

  • HHCPC registration as a relevant Allied Health Professional
  • Advanced theoretical and practical knowledge of AHP procedures acquired through a doctorate or equivalent relevant experience, plus continuous professional development
  • Management qualification or completion of senior-level leadership program

Desirable

  • Quality improvement training and/or qualification

Knowledge and Experience

Essential

  • Extensive track record of leadership and achievement at senior AHP level in health or care settings
  • Experience leading change in complex environments with various stakeholders
  • Building effective system partnerships and delivering change through partnership working
  • Significant experience in management and leadership of quality and safety / clinical governance of AHP services

Desirable

  • Leadership and implementation of AHP research strategy experience

  • A passion for improving patient care standards, particularly through co-design approaches
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills for influencing complex information
