Job Overview:

This exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Senior Registered Practitioner to join our AfPP accredited perioperative team as a Deputy Lead Theatre Practitioner for Orthopaedics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • As a Deputy Lead Theatre Practitioner, you will work primarily as a scrub practitioner but also have flexibility to cover Anaesthetics or Recovery when required.
  • You will be responsible for preparing operating and anaesthetic rooms for surgery, ensuring a high standard of clinical care and safety for patients within the theatre unit.
Requirements:
  • A postgraduate clinical qualification in a specialty or as First Assistant.
  • Post registration clinical experience as an orthopaedic practitioner in an acute hospital (NHS or Private).
  • Experience in planning, organising and running lists within the theatre suite.
