Leadership Opportunities in Perioperative Care

KIMS Hospital Maidstone invites applications from experienced Senior Registered Practitioners to join its perioperative team as a Deputy Lead Theatre Practitioner for Orthopaedic Surgery.

This is an excellent opportunity to progress your perioperative career and take on a leadership role, mentoring junior staff and ensuring a high standard of clinical care and safety for patients within the theatre unit.

Your responsibilities will include working as the lead member of the scrub team, providing clinical leadership to junior staff, communicating effectively with other departments, and preparing operating rooms for surgery.

We offer a competitive salary (£46,119 - £69,170) and benefits package, including a pension scheme, private health insurance, and annualised hours contracts. To succeed in this role, you will require post-registration clinical experience as an orthopaedic practitioner in an acute hospital, completed or currently undertaking a Practice Educator Course, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
