About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Secondary Teaching Assistant, providing essential support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a secondary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Classroom Support: Work closely with teachers to provide individualized support and assistance to students with SEN, adapting learning materials to meet their specific needs.
- One-on-One Assistance: Provide focused support to individual students, offering guidance and reinforcement to help them overcome challenges and thrive academically and socially.
- Small Group Work: Facilitate small group activities, fostering collaboration and creating a supportive learning environment for students with SEN.
- Behaviour Management: Employ effective strategies to promote positive behavior and create a calm and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:
We are looking for a candidate with a genuine interest in supporting students with SEN, who is able to work effectively in a team and adapt to the needs of individual students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
