We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and nurturing educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for supporting students with SEN/SEMH and will be committed to creating an inclusive and empowering learning experience for all.

Responsibilities:
  1. Provide one-on-one support to students with SEN/SEMH, ensuring their individual needs are met in the classroom setting.
  2. Collaborate with teachers to implement personalized learning plans and behavior management strategies for students with SEN.
  3. Create a safe and supportive environment for students, promoting social and emotional well-being.
  4. Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals involved in the students' care to ensure a holistic approach to their education and well-being.
Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience working with individuals with ASD and/or ADHD is essential.
  2. Strong understanding of SEN support strategies and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
  4. Relevant certifications or training in the field of Special Educational Needs is desirable.
Day-to-Day:
  1. Provide individualized support to students during lessons, ensuring they are able to engage and participate fully.
  2. Collaborate with teachers to facilitate the inclusion of students in all aspects of school life.
  3. Monitor and record student progress, and contribute to the review and development of their individual support plans.
  4. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, promoting respect and understanding among all students.
