Railway Track Specialist

As a Technician (Track Maintenance) at Network Rail, you will be responsible for maintaining, inspecting and repairing the track network to ensure the railway remains safe and efficient.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair the track network, including rails, sleepers, and ballast.
- Inspect the track network to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
- Work with the team to deliver safe and efficient work delivery.
- Develop and implement safe systems of work.
- Collaborate with the team leader to ensure the team has the necessary skills and competencies to meet safety standards.
- Leadership skills to motivate and direct a team for safe and efficient work delivery.
- Effective communication skills to deliver clear instructions to the team and other colleagues.
- Knowledge of discipline-specific maintenance, inspection, faulting, and renewal techniques.
- Ability to work in all weathers and maintain a high level of physical fitness.
- Strong problem-solving skills to find safe and effective solutions.
