About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our expanding research midwifery team in a groundbreaking project, The Generation Study. We will sequence the genomes of 100,000 newborn babies, enhancing the health and quality of life for hundreds of babies born with rare genetic conditions every year.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in midwifery, genetics, or a related field, with at least two years of experience in maternity or genetics specialty. They must be able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of midwifery practice and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical trials and coordinate research projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Demonstrate expertise in genetics and genomics
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in midwifery, genetics, or a related field
  • Registration with the NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council)
  • Experience working in maternity or genetics specialty
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also have access to ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
