Commissioning and Delivery Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Commissioning and Delivery Specialist to join our team at Powys County Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the effective delivery of our Flying Start program, which includes childcare, health visiting, parenting support, and early language development.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement commissioning strategies to improve early help services.
  2. Lead a team of professionals to deliver high-quality services to vulnerable children and families.
  3. Build and maintain partnerships with local authorities, health services, and community organisations.
  4. Monitor and evaluate performance through performance monitoring and reporting.
  5. Maintain governance and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
  6. Engage with the community to understand their needs and ensure support and services are accessible.
