About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Services Supervisor to join our team at Eastgate Medical Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our patient services, including the care navigation team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the care navigation team, providing leadership and guidance to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient services.
  • Develop and implement team protocols, prioritizing task delegation and identifying task champions.
  • Ensure effective communication on a day-to-day basis, managing the GP and nurse appointment system.
  • Deal with minor patient complaints and grumbles, maintaining a suggestions box and comments book.
  • Produce staff rotas, managing annual leave and cover arrangements.
  • Ensure Practice policies and procedures are embraced and fully implemented, including health and safety, information governance, and equality and diversity.

Person Specification

  • Business administration, NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Customer care.
  • Data Protection Act.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Experience of clinical software EMIS Web/SystmOne/Vision.
  • Working in a patient or customer-facing role.

  • Work collaboratively to ensure the smooth delivery of services.
