Trust In SODA - CPLEX Engineer

We're seeking a skilled CPLEX Developer to contribute to a complex data-driven optimization project for the government. As a key member of our mature team of engineers, you'll collaborate with data architects, service designers, developers, and testers to deliver a schedule optimization solution using IBM CPLEX.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a schedule optimization solution using CPLEX, leveraging your expertise in optimization techniques.
  • Work closely with business analysts to understand client requirements and extract maximum business value from available data.
  • Collaborate with service designers and optimization experts to design the solution, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Build an initial prototype and minimal viable product, delivering associated tasks, including full testing cycle and documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Strong coding experience in Java, with a proven track record of building solutions to real-life optimization problems.
  • Experience with CPLEX, Gurobi, or Xpress, and knowledge of algorithmics outside mathematical programming, such as graph algorithms, approximation algorithms, heuristics, constraints programming, dynamic programming, etc.
  • Knowledge of parallel processing and hardware implementation aspects of mathematical algorithms, ensuring efficient solution deployment.
