We have established ourselves as England's leading provider of biodiversity units, leveraging our national network of over 28 habitat banks to support the regulated BNG marketplace. Now, we are enabling corporates to mitigate damage to nature through Nature Shares (biodiversity credits).

The Role

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Sales Director to lead commercial go-to-market activities for Nature Shares (biodiversity credits). This role involves driving sales strategy, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and positioning Environment Bank at the forefront of environmental sustainability when it comes to nature restoration.

This is a new and exciting market opportunity that requires a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and driven individual to 'make the market' and position Environment Bank as a recognized leader within Nature Shares at a local and global level.

Your Responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets in the biodiversity credits market (Nature Shares), focusing on market penetration and growth.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success and continuous improvement supported by business case for investment in new talent.
  • Commercial Negotiations: Lead negotiations with potential clients, ensuring favorable terms and closing deals that align with company goals.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Financial Performance: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance metrics, and reports.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate clients, governmental bodies, and environmental organizations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with business goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

What We Offer

Competitive salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus bonus and benefits package.
