Job Title: Account Sales Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Account Sales Engineer to join our team at MacStaff. As an Account Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships with our existing customers, as well as identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and sales efforts.
  • Work closely with the Sales Manager and Field Sales team to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Manage customer orders from quote to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Proactively communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the Field Sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and business development efforts.

Requirements:

  • Physics degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of photonics and related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven sales and business development experience in a B2B environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
