About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to join our team as an Advanced Dysphagia Specialist. This is a part-time position that offers a competitive salary of £46,148-£52,809 per annum pro rata.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing patients with dysphagia on an acute inpatient caseload and delivering speech and language therapy to adults with swallowing and communication disorders related to head and neck cancer or ENT conditions.

This role requires a strong background in post-graduate experience working with clients with H&N ENT swallowing and/or communication disorders, as well as detailed knowledge of Oncology treatment approaches and known side-effects.

The ideal candidate will possess advanced dysphagia skills, counselling skills, oral and tracheal suction skills, and experience providing training and specialist advice to external agencies.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.">

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a degree or post-graduate diploma in Speech and Language Therapy, registered membership with the Health Professions Council (HPC), and evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

A valid Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check is also required.
