Community Health Therapist

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our team in Somerset. As a Community Health Therapist, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in a variety of settings, including community clinics, hospitals, care homes, and visiting patients in their own homes.
Your key responsibilities will include independently managing a diverse caseload of patients with progressive neurological conditions, such as Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Huntington's Disease, Parkinson's Disease, and Dementia. You will work closely with other professionals, while also training and supporting care staff and family members to ensure the best possible care for our patients.
Our team has a well-established supervision and support network in place, and you will receive clinical support from our Band 7 Pathway Lead for Deteriorating Neurological Conditions. The estimated salary for this position is around £50,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
