We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Occupational Therapist to join our team in a new rotation at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career and gain specialist clinical skills, support and supervise others, and participate in service development.

This role requires excellent communication skills and experience of working in a fast-paced environment. You will need to have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational therapy and be HCPC registered.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around £32,000-£40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description
  • About Us: We are a large acute hospital trust in the south-east of England providing a full range of general hospital services and some aspects of specialist and complex care.
  • Person Specification:
    • Diploma/Degree in Occupational therapy
    • HCPC Registration
    • Post qualification experience in a physical setting
    • Evidence of personal and professional development
    • Experience in working as part of an MDT
    • Experience of leading and influencing others, including OT colleagues
    • Experience in leading and contributing to Audit
    • Experience in service improvement
    • An understanding of common medical, and surgical conditions, care of the elderly, neurology, trauma and orthopaedics
