The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated Research Clinical Nurse Leader to join its dynamic research team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the research activity across the Clinical Research Facility, supporting the set up and delivery of early phase / complex commercial and NIHR research portfolio studies.

This will involve working across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that all CRF studies recruit to time and target within research governance requirements. The post holder will also act as a source of specialist knowledge concerning research for colleagues within their department and support the CRF Lead Research Nurse in the running of the facility.

Job Overview:

  • Lead the research activity across the Clinical Research Facility
  • Support the set up and delivery of early phase / complex commercial and NIHR research portfolio studies
  • Work across multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely recruitment of CRF studies
  • Act as a source of specialist knowledge concerning research for colleagues

Requirements:

  • Nursing qualification with current NMC registration
  • Recognised research module/ qualification or equivalent short courses and accredited updates
  • Recognised teaching module/ qualification
  • Completed/working towards Masters degree in a related field
  • Significant post registration nursing experience
  • Experience of working in CTIMP Clinical Research

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
