Midwife Clinical Leader Role

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Midwife to take on a leadership role within our maternity services. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to utilize their expertise in promoting clinical pathways and leading midwifery practice.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have significant experience in midwifery care at Band 8a and above, with a Master's degree in a relevant subject and Mentorship Accreditation or Practice Assessor accreditation. They will be responsible for promoting clinical pathways, leading and supporting midwives to realize their full potential as autonomous practitioners, and placing women and their families at the centre of care planning.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
The Midwife Clinical Leader will:
- Utilize midwifery expertise to promote clinical pathways and lead midwifery practice within all areas of maternity services
- Lead and support midwives to realise their full potential as autonomous practitioners
- Place women and their families at the centre of care planning
Key Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to network across organisations and compile, analyse and disseminate complex information. They will also have evidence of continuing professional development, quality improvement practice, and research/audit experience.

Salary and Benefits
The estimated annual salary for this role is £85,000 - £95,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life insurance, and access to employee wellbeing programs.
