Support Worker Opportunity

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Support Worker.

In this role, you will work closely with individuals with learning disabilities to provide personalized support and enable them to achieve their goals.

You will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and contributing to a positive and inclusive living environment.

A salary of £22,500 - £28,000 per annum, dependent on experience, is available for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and household chores
  • Promote independence and self-advocacy among clients
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive living environment
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, nursing)
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working with vulnerable populations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management skills
