About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as an Academic Support Specialist.

This role is responsible for providing high-quality support to individuals with learning disabilities, enabling them to achieve their full potential.

The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized support plans that cater to the unique needs of each individual.

As an Academic Support Specialist, you will be expected to maintain accurate records, adhere to professional standards, and collaborate with external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.

A competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, is offered to attract top talent.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized support plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client progress and outcomes
  • Collaborate with external partners to enhance service delivery and promote community integration
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the organization

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, education)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with learning disabilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
