About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fine Art Logistics Specialist to join our team at Red Recruit. As a Fine Art Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for the safe transportation and handling of fine art pieces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Packing and Shipping: Pack artwork using appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of lifting equipment to ensure safe handling of fine art pieces.
  • Transportation: Drive company vehicles to transport fine art to various locations, such as galleries, museums, and private collections, while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Logistics Coordination: Liaise with clients, curators, and other team members to coordinate transportation logistics and address any special handling requirements.
  • Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including inventory lists, condition reports, and shipping documentation.
  • Safety and Security: Adhere to all safety guidelines and best practices when handling, packing, and transporting artwork.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in fine art packing, handling, transporting, and installing, or experience within the removals industry.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license and good physical fitness.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team and independently, flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed.
