About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fine Art Technician / Driver to join our team at Red Recruit, a leading recruitment agency specializing in Removals, Relocations, and Global Mobility.

As a Fine Art Technician / Driver, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe transportation of fine art and other valuable items to various locations, including galleries, museums, and private collections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Packing and Handling: Pack artwork using appropriate materials and techniques to prevent damage during transit.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of lifting equipment to safely handle and transport fine art.
  • Transportation: Drive company vehicles to transport fine art to various locations, adhering to safety regulations and best practices.
  • Logistics and Coordination: Liaise with clients, curators, and other team members to coordinate transportation logistics and address any special handling requirements.
  • Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including inventory lists, condition reports, and shipping documentation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience in fine art packing, handling, transporting, and installing, or experience within the Removals industry.
  • Physical Demands: Good physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid driver's license.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well in a team and independently, flexibility to work irregular hours and travel as needed.
