Glasgow-based company seeks a seasoned PR professional to elevate brand and strengthen market presence.

About the Role

As Public Relations Specialist, you will drive and refine the communication strategy, ensuring the brand's voice resonates with key audiences across the health tech landscape.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute PR campaigns that build trust and showcase the brand's expertise
  • Shape compelling consumer narratives using insights and data, managing media relations, and organizing high-impact events
  • Oversee corporate communications, including executive announcements and key partnerships
  • Responsible for all crisis communications
  • Serve as the main point of contact for media inquiries and ensure internal and external communications align with strategic objectives
  • Mentor junior team members, coordinate media training, and track the effectiveness of PR campaigns

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a strategic yet hands-on external communications role
  • Ideal experience working in the healthcare or health tech sector either in an in-house or agency comms environment
  • Lead successful PR campaigns for both corporate and consumer audiences
  • Previous experience dealing with crisis communications
  • Strong writing skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines
