Automation Business Analyst/Developer/Operator

Job Overview

Are you interested in being part of a team that shapes the future of healthcare? We are seeking a skilled Automation Business Analyst/Developer/Operator to join our Informatics department as part of our Robotic Process Automation team.

The role has three functions: Business Analyst, Automation Developer, and Operator. The Business Analyst function is responsible for engaging with Divisional and Department managers and Process owners to identify, prioritize, and create detailed keystroke-level process mapping instructions. The Automation Developer function transforms these instructions into automated processes, interacting with all required applications and ensuring exceptions are managed accordingly. The Operator function ensures the operational services on a day-to-day basis within our cloud-based automation platform and software.

This post will support areas of the robotic automation development lifecycle, including design, programming, versioning control, testing, documentation, technical implementation, and deployment.

Essential Criteria

  • Recognised BMS Business Analyst qualification or 12 months equivalent experience
  • Able to work autonomously and under pressure to meet strict deadlines
  • Advanced specialist knowledge underpinned by theory, experience, and qualification

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience in the components of the platform used: Automation Studio, Blue Prism Cloud Hub, IADA, IADA NLU, IADA OCR/ice, IADA Orchestration, IADA
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare sector
  • Fundamental knowledge of programming principles

We continue to encourage and support our staff to participate in the seasonal respiratory vaccination programme in order to protect themselves, colleagues, and their patients.

We offer parking on site at Salisbury District Hospital, a daily charge applies. We encourage our staff to utilise other green methods of getting to work such as cycling or walking where possible, and our Trust is well connected through the bus services to the city centre and other areas.

If this job requires you to have a DBS check to enable you to properly fulfil the requirements of the job, on appointment, you will be required to repay the cost of obtaining a DBS check and this amount will be reclaimed in instalments from your salary.
