About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Business Analyst/Developer/Operator to join our Informatics department as part of our Robotic Process Automation team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering cost-effective, risk-controlled, robust, reliable, responsive, and secure automation solutions for the Trust.

Main Responsibilities
  • Engage with Divisional and Department managers and Process owners to identify, prioritize, and create detailed process mapping instructions.
  • Transform process mapping instructions into automated processes, interact with applications, and manage exceptions.
  • Ensure operational services on a day-to-day basis within our cloud-based automation platform and software.

This post will support areas of the robotic automation development lifecycle, including design, programming, versioning control, testing, documentation, technical implementation, and deployment.

Person Specification
  • Recognised Business Analyst qualification or 12 months equivalent experience.
  • Able to work autonomously and under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Advanced specialist knowledge underpinned by theory, experience, and qualification.
  • Experience in the components of the platform used, including Automation Studio, Blue Prism Cloud Hub, IADA, and IADA NLU.
  • Previous experience working in a healthcare sector.
  • Fundamental knowledge of programming principles.
Disclosure and Barring Service Check

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and requires a submission for Disclosure to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.

The salary for this role is £37,338 to £44,962 per annum, pro rata if part-time.
