Customer Service Team Lead

Job Summary:
As a Customer Service Team Lead at Tate, you will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing customer service team. You will inspire a strong team spirit, conduct regular one-to-one meetings, and proactively develop staff through Personal Development Plans (PDP's).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the customer service team, ensuring a positive and united team spirit.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with staff to reinforce direction and purpose.
- Develop staff through Personal Development Plans (PDP's) to ensure targets are achieved and performance is evaluated.
- Identify resources needed, including training and staffing, to ensure corporate standards are met.
- Assist the Customer Service Manager by participating in and implementing projects, managing change, and best practices.
- Prepare staff and service for times of change, particularly contentious issues, and support and lead the team through change.
- Respond appropriately and sensitively to a wide range of written and verbal enquiries and complaints.
- Demonstrate commitment to performance management, ensuring the service provided meets the council's performance management standards.
