We are seeking a skilled New Business Manager to join our team at Brakes, where you will play a crucial role in our National Accounts department. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, secure, and nurture new business opportunities, drive sales growth, and develop lasting relationships with our clients.
About the Job:
- Secure new commercial business by actively pursuing and managing a pipeline of potential opportunities.
- Foster strong connections with customers to establish Brakes as their preferred supply partner.
- Exceed sales and margin targets by leveraging your expertise and industry knowledge.
- Work closely with internal teams to create and submit high-quality tender documents.
- Oversee the implementation of new business wins, collaborating with the implementation team.
- Discover joint opportunities for securing new customers across the UK group.
Your Key Strengths:
- A proven track record in new business development or national account roles, with a history of success in multiple sectors and tender management.
- Superb customer relationship and rapport-building skills, complemented by excellent communication skills within and outside the organization.
- A deep understanding of solution selling and negotiation, combined with commercial acumen and knowledge of key profit drivers.
- A results-driven approach, accompanied by energy, proficiency in technology, and a keen eye for detail.
