Senior Clinical Pharmacist

Daytime Healthcare are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist to join their team in Livingston, working in a leading, highly rated pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertaking clinical screening of inpatient prescriptions and discharge requests to ensure safe and effective medication use.
- Providing expert clinical advice and support to consultants, nurses, and other clinicians to optimize medication therapy.
- Checking medicines dispensed for patients in highly specialized tertiary care units to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Responding to clinical queries via internal systems to address medication-related concerns.
- Ensuring the accuracy of dispensed medication and providing advice to medical and nursing staff.
- Monitoring and improving the quality of care and patient safety through ongoing evaluation and improvement.
Ideal Candidate:
- GPhC Registered Pharmacist with excellent clinical knowledge and skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as individually, with a willingness to learn and gain clinical knowledge.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am-6:00pm
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 per annum
