A Secondary school in a thriving area of North West London is seeking an experienced MFL Teacher to cover a maternity position on a fixed-term contract. About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for adhering to the school's policies and procedures, providing pupils with necessary feedback and encouragement, and assisting in the department with preparing resources and arranging trips. A strong ability in planning and preparing lessons in accordance with the curriculum is essential, as well as strong behaviour management skills and the ability to speak a minimum of 2 languages.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver engaging and effective lessons to students of varying abilities
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of the MFL curriculum
  3. Collaborate with colleagues to plan and prepare resources and trips
  4. Meet with parents/carers to discuss pupil progress
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • An enhanced DBS with update service or willingness to apply for a new DBS
  • Ability to speak a minimum of 2 languages (e.g., Spanish, French, Italian)
