Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Psychologist to join our team at Central & North West London NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to provide psychological support to patients and their families at two of our hospital sites. The post holder will be primarily based at Northwick Park Hospital, but regular presence at Ealing Hospital is also required.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work as an integrated member of the Neonatal team to provide psychological support to families of babies on the unit
  • Provide follow-up support to families once babies have been discharged from the unit
  • Offer specialist psychological assessment and therapy, as well as advice and consultation on families' psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues
The Ideal Candidate

You will have significant post-qualification experience in child/paediatric psychology, with some experience of working in paediatric diabetes and/or Neonatology being highly desirable.

Requirements
  • Doctoral level training in clinical psychology
  • Registration with the HCPC
  • Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across various care settings
  • Skills in providing consultation to other professional groups
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus excellent benefits and opportunities for professional development.
