About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team at the Civil Aviation Authority. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development across our advisory, training, and examinations service lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to identify new opportunities and expand our portfolio
  • Lead on account management of key clients and stakeholders, building strong relationships and delivering exceptional customer service
  • Support the strategic development and profitability of our portfolio, including project management and financial management
  • Matrix manage a small team of people through opportunities and projects, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure their success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects and services, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery
Requirements
  • Proven business development experience in the aviation industry or a related sector, with a strong track record of success
  • Excellent commercial acumen, with experience in bid management, proposal writing, and financial management
  • Strong account management and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels
  • Excellent project management skills, with experience of managing multiple projects simultaneously and ensuring timely delivery
  • Strong IT skills, with experience of using Microsoft Applications and other relevant tools
