Inflammatory Bowel Disease Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. The successful candidate will have a strong background in gastroenterology and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical advice and support to patients with IBD, including assessment, diagnosis, and management of their condition.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Conduct education and training sessions for patients, families, and healthcare professionals on IBD management and treatment options.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
- Registered General Nurse with a degree or degree-level education.
- Experience in gastroenterology, preferably in an IBD setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
