Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced nurse to join the United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust's Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) nursing team.

Main Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver effective and efficient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have a strong understanding of IBD and its management.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and knowledge in IBD. The successful applicant will be expected to work closely with the IBD team to develop and implement care plans, provide education and support to patients and their families, and contribute to the development of the IBD service.

Person Specification
  • Registered General Nurse
  • Degree or degree-level education
  • Physical Assessment and History Taking Course
  • 998 or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Evidence-based research/care
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
  • GCP/Research qualification/experience
  • Counselling course
  • Prescribing qualification
  • Working towards Masters-level education
