Job Title: Senior Residential Care Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Residential Care Manager to join our team at Holistic Support Services.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of care workers in a residential setting, ensuring the highest standards of care and support for children and young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of care workers in a residential setting, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of children and young people.
  • Conduct regular supervision and appraisal sessions with care workers, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
  • Participate in on-call rota and respond to out-of-hours calls as required.
  • Ensure daily reports, health and safety checks, and care plans are completed and up to date.
  • Collaborate with the Deputy Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the residential home.
  • Assist with supervisions and appraisals, providing feedback and guidance to care workers.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Diploma in Children's Residential or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in a residential care setting, preferably in a leadership or management role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to work.
  • Competitive rates of pay, plus sleep-in duties at £60.00 per night, per shift.
