Job Description

Our client, a prominent insurance company based in central London, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Team Member to join their dynamic accounts team.

This exciting opportunity will suit an individual looking to build a long-term career within financial administration. As part of the Accounts Payable team, you will be responsible for processing and paying invoices and employee expenses.

About the Role:

  • Process purchase invoices and expense claims with high attention to detail
  • Coordinate requisitions and turn them into purchase orders
  • Set up and maintain supplier and employee information within the AP system
  • Manage vendor and employee bank account details
  • Perform weekly payment runs and ensure timely invoice payments
  • Reconcile and analyse credit card and petty cash spend
  • Handle ad hoc requests from colleagues and process journals related to accounts payable

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • Strong excel skills and ability to work under pressure
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to identify problems and resolution skills

Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This salary range reflects the company's commitment to offering competitive compensation packages to attract top talent in the field.
