Job Title: IT Leader, Project Management

Job Summary:

As an IT Leader, Project Management at BAE Systems, you will be responsible for managing project budget, forecasting, and progression, as well as creating, reviewing, and submitting business cases and bid proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing project budget, forecasting, and progression.
  • Creating, reviewing, and submitting business cases and bid proposals.
  • Controlling and directing resources to meet business and functional priorities while managing the performance of deployed multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Operating Project/Programme management processes for Risk, Issue, Dependency, and Actions.
  • Chair Steering Boards and other governance processes.
  • Continuously working on improving our Processes, controls, and strategy.
  • Supporting the generation of Product Delivery Roadmaps.
  • Executing functional/product group financial control processes and forecasting.

Requirements:

Essential Skills:

  • Good project management experience.
  • Forecasting and budgetary control experience.
  • Agile Method/Safe Method Experience.
  • Strong Stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience of Siemens Portfolio of Products is desired.

You will have overall control of large-scale transformation and implementation projects across the engineering community.
