We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Systems Specialist to join our team at BAE Systems.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Commission and maintain mechanical systems in a regulated industry, ensuring safe operation and compliance.
- Develop and implement testing strategies, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure activities are undertaken safely and compliantly.
- Mentor and train team members, sharing knowledge and competency.
- Conduct risk assessments, identifying potential hazards and implementing controls.
- Participate in project planning, coordinating activities and resources.
Requirements
- Experience in commissioning or maintaining mechanical systems in a regulated industry.
- Ability to develop and implement testing strategies.
- Knowledge of safety controls and procedures in high-risk environments.
- Experience working with high-pressure systems.
- Ability to understand complex mechanical systems.
- Awareness of nuclear site/authorisation conditions.
