Senior Systems Integrator

This exciting opportunity exists for a Senior Commissioning Engineer – SWO to join our Commissioning SWO team at BAE Systems.
As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for testing mechanical elements of the launcher & SWSS equipment, Fluid & Air systems, Nitrogen, Water and Hydraulics etc.

Main Responsibilities- Undertake routine work with limited supervision, focusing on safety considerations in high-risk environments
- Develop effective relationships with stakeholders to ensure activities are executed safely and compliantly
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior colleagues
- Ensure quality control through thorough research, reviews, and feedback of relevant documentation
- Maintain accurate records of work activities, adhering to policies, procedures, and legislation
- Take responsibility for personal actions and engage in self-development and mandatory training
- Represent the company on Contractors Sea Trials and other outworking requirements
- Deliver assigned activities in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legislation
- Demonstrate technical expertise and awareness of product knowledge
- Strong technical ability to address emergent incidents
- Proficiency in Microsoft packages and company-specific software
- Previous experience with Strategic Weapons Systems
- Control of Works (Safety) knowledge
- Comprehensive testing and commissioning experience of air and fluid pipework systems
- Ability to inspect and approve mechanical systems
- Relevant qualifications, such as HNC/HND in a related discipline or STEM subject
