Totally plc's Urgent Care division is seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Advanced Clinical Practitioners. As a leader in primary care, we are committed to delivering high-quality patient care and services across London.

About the Role:
We are recruiting from various professional backgrounds, including nurses, pharmacists, and paramedics, who have a Master's level award or equivalent and a keen interest in taking on an expanded role within Primary Care. As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner within our Urgent Treatment Centres, you will support existing clinical care to enhance the capacity and capability within our multi-professional teams. Your responsibilities will include assessing health and clinical needs of patients, undertaking consultations as an autonomous practitioner, using your advanced clinical practice skills, and own clinical judgement to diagnose, treat, refer or discharge patients. This role will be face-to-face supported by a variable rota covering weekdays, evenings, overnight, weekends, and bank holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Shift lead the clinical teams
  • Carry out consultations with patients - taking a comprehensive patient history;
  • Decide on and carry out treatment, including the prescribing of medicine or referring to primary or secondary care specialist services within local agreed pathways and protocols as appropriate;
  • Provide clinical advice and mentorship to junior clinical staff.
